Nami Exchange will list API3 Token (API3)

In order to expand the investment portfolio and bring more choices to users and the community, Nami Exchange would like to announce the listing of API3 token.

Specifically,

  • Deposits of API3 token will be opened from now on
  • Exchange trading pairs of API3 token will open at 17:30 (UTC+7) on January 21, 2022
  • Withdrawals will open at 17:30 (UTC+7) on January 22, 2022.

What is API3?

API3 is a data oracle that enables APIs to feed data to blockchain applications directly without third-party middlemen. API3 is its native governance token that can be staked to receive rewards and act as collateral to provide a security guarantee on the data feed.

What is API3 token used for?

  • Staking: users can stake API3 tokens into the staking pool to receive rewards.
  • Collateral: API3 can be staked into the network pool as collateral. When the network has an error that causes the loss of users’ assets, the project will deduct money from this pool to compensate for the users’ losses.
  • Governance: users stake API3 tokens and the network to have the right to participate in project governance.
