Nami Exchange supports the token rebranding of Kaia (KLAY) to Kaia (KAIA)

Dear Nami Community,


As latest announcement from partner Binance, Nami Exchange would like to announce the support of the Kaia (KLAY) Token Rebranding to Kaia (KAIA), details as described below:


1. Futures trading on Nami Futures and NAO Futures:

  • At 2024-10-22 08:30 (UTC), Nami will suspend trading for the KLAY/USDT and KLAY/VNST. Please note that users are allowed to close any existing positions after this time.
  • At 2024-10-22 09:00 (UTC), Nami will close all positions, conduct an automatic settlement and cancel all pending orders on the KLAY/USDT and KLAY/VNST, and delist those contracts after the settlement is complete. Users are advised to close any open positions prior to above mentioned time to avoid automatic settlement.

2. Spot and Swap trading on Nami Exchange

  • At 2024-10-28 03:00 (UTC), Nami Exchange will suspend and delist all KLAY/USDT and KLAY/VNST spot and swap trading pairs and cancel all pending spot trade orders.
  • At 2024-10-28 03:30 (UTC), deposits and withdrawals of KLAY will be suspended. Please ensure that you leave sufficient time for your KLAY deposits to be fully processed prior to this time.

3. Nami Earn

At 2024-10-25 03:00 (UTC), Nami Earn will cease support for KLAY Earn Pools, and subscriptions will no longer be available, all KLAY balances from existing subscriptions will be automatically redeemed and credited to users’ Spot Wallets after 2024-10-25 03:00 (UTC). Users may also choose to redeem their assets from KLAY Nami Earn Pools anytime before the aforementioned time.


4. Auto-Invest

Since 2024-10-28 03:00 (UTC), Nami Exchange will cease support Kaia (KLAY) with Auto-Invest function, all auto-invest plans with KLAY will not have buy orders executed. Users are strongly advised to cancel plans that include KLAY assets before the aforementioned time.


5. Conversion's schedule and rate

  • After 2024-10-28 03:30 (UTC), Nami Exchange will recover all old KLAY balances, and begin the distribution of new KAIA to all eligible users at a ratio of 1 KLAY= 1 KAIA.
  • At 2024-10-31 08:00 (UTC), trading will open for new KAIA/USDT and KAIA/VNST spot and swap trading pairs.
  • Deposits with Kaia (KAIA) will expectedly open at 2024-10-31 07:00 (UTC), Withdrawals will expectedly open at 2024-10-31 09:00 (UTC)
