How to participate in NAO Governance Pool on Nami Exchange

Dear Nami Community,

As announced, from 2023-05-15 03:00 (UTC), Nami officially launched NAO Futures product on application and NAO Governance Pool on Nami Exchange website and application with a mechanism to share up to 20% of weekly trading fees for investors participating in Governance Pool. The following article will detail how to stake in NAO Governance Pool on Nami Exchange.


NAO Governance Pool Mechanism

Users contribute NAO to the Governance Pool to receive a weekly share of 20% of revenue from VNDC Futures trading fees and 10% of revenue from USDT Futures trading fees of NAO Futures products on Nami Exchange. As follows:

  • Each user gets a share of the revenue in proportion to the NAO contribution in the Pool, which is recorded at 17:00 every Sunday (UTC).
  • Minimum amount of NAO to contribute to Pool: 1,000 NAO
  • Maximum amount of NAO to contribute to Pool: Unlimited
  • Every Monday at 00:00 (UTC), the project will transfer the revenue from trading fees in the period to the Governance Pool and distribute it to all users participating in the Pool contribution according to the contribution rate.
  • Users can withdraw NAO from the Governance Pool at any time. The number of NAO withdrawn from the Pool will be unlocked after 7 days from the time of withdrawal confirmation. In the withdrawal waiting period, users will not receive revenue sharing from the Governance Pool.

How to join the NAO Governance Pool


1.How to deposit NAO to the NAO Wallet

Step 1: At the main screen, choose “Wallet” then select “Exchange”

Step 2: Choose “Transfer”

Step 3: Select Spot as the transfer wallet, NAO as the receiving wallet, enter the amount of NAO and click "Transfer"


2. How to stake NAO in the Governance Pool

Step 1: In the main interface, choose “Wallet”, then choose “NAO”

Step 2: Select “NAO Governance”

Step 3: View information about NAO project and select "Stake NAO"


Step 4: View information about the Governance Pool. Select (+)  to stake, (-) to withdraw NAO.

Step 5: Enter the amount of NAO that you want to stake or withdraw and select “Confirm”


Important Notices:

  • Users need to complete account KYC to join the NAO Governance Pool
  • Users can track the details of NAO deposit and withdrawal transactions with the Governance Pool in the Statistics -> Transaction History section of the NAO Governance interface.
