Like other exchanges, Nami operates under the Maker-Taker fee mechanism with different Maker & Taker fees. Usually Maker's fee schedule will be lower than Taker's. Both Maker and Taker play an important role in an exchange's order book. Taker When making a trading order, the user is immediately a “ Taker ” whether executing a part or all of the order. Trades from Market orders are always Taker because Market orders are never on the order book. These traders "take" a volume of trades on the order book so they are called Takers. Maker User will be a “ Maker ” when making an order that is not liquidated immediately, then this order will be a pending order on the Order Book and wait to be matched when someone else accepts it.
