Managing account information is an essential step to help users ensure security, easily personalize settings, and maintain the smooth experience on Nami. This guide provides instructions for users on how to manage account features, including: - Edit profile picture - Add/edit phone number - Add email - Edit nickname - Set up the primary security method - Deactivate account - Other personalization settings Edit Profile picture Step 1: On the Account screen, select the “ Edit ” button next to the profile picture and choose “ Avata r” Step 2: Select a picture from the gallery or take a new photo. Step 3: After selecting the image, click Confirm to upload the new profile picture. Add/edit Phone number Step 1: On the Account screen: + For users without an existing phone number, select “Add”. + For users who already have a phone number, select “Edit.” Step 2: Enter the new or updated phone number. Phone numbers are applied for Vietnam country code (+84) and must be 9–10 digits in length. Step 3: Enter the verification codes: If adding a new phone number: + Enter the 6-digit code sent to the new phone number. + Enter the 6-digit code sent to the registered email address. If editing an existing phone number: + Enter the 6-digit code sent to the phone number. + Enter the 6-digit code sent to the primary security method already set. After successful verification, the phone number will be added or updated. Notes: - Users with foreign nationality are not allowed to add a phone number. - Editing is available for the first time after a phone number has been added. - From the second update onward, each change must be at least 30 days apart. Add Email Step 1: On the Account screen, in the “ Email” field, select “ Add.” Note: If an email is already registered, users cannot add or edit a new one. Step 2: Enter the email in the format: username@domain.tld. For example: namiexchange@gmail.com Step 3 : Verify email and security: + Enter the 6-digit code sent to the provided email address. + Enter the 6-digit code sent to the registered phone number. + The email will be successfully added once verification is complete. Edit Nickname Step 1: There are two ways to access the nickname editing screen: + Option 1: On the Account screen, select “ Edit ” next to the profile picture and choose “Edit nickname.” + Option 2: In the Nickname field, select “ Edit.” Step 2: Enter a new nickname following these rules: + Only letters (non-accented), numbers, dots (.), and underscores (_). + Uppercase letters are not allowed. + Length between 1 and 30 characters. + Must not duplicate an existing nickname in the system. Step 3: Click Confirm to update the nickname. Notes + If no nickname is entered during registration, the system will automatically generate one. + Users can change their nickname once immediately after registration. Subsequent changes are allowed every 60 days. Set up primary Security method Step 1: On the Account screen, in the “ Security Method” field, select “Details.” Step 2: Choose the primary security method for login protection, withdrawal requests, and account setting changes. Notes: + Only one option can be enabled: either Email or Phone number. + Nami recommends using a phone number for stronger account security. + Users with foreign nationality can only use Email and cannot change this setting. Deactivate Account Step 1: On the Account screen, under the Security section, select “ Deactivate account.” Step 2: Review the terms carefully, then select Confirm. Step 3 : Enter the verification code sent to the primary security method (Email/Phone) and the 2FA code (if enabled).
