Since 2024-07-24 04:00 (UTC), Nami Exchange will launch API Key on the trading platform, allowing users to automate complex trading strategies by integrating external tools with their Nami Exchange accounts.
This article will provide detailed instructions on how to use API Key on Nami Exchange.
What is API Key?
API Key (Application Programming Interface Key) is a string of characters created by Nami Exchange that allows third-party applications and platforms to access user's account and perform certain actions.
Currently, with Nami Exchange's API Key, users can:
- Access real-time market data, including market prices, trading volume, and charts.
- Create automated Spot trading programs by connecting the account’s API to external support tools.
Note: To create an API Key, user needs to complete identity verification (KYC) and turn on two-factor authentication.
How to create an API Key
Step 1: In the “Account” interface, select “API Management”
Step 2: Select “Create API”
Step 3: Fill the information to create the API, including:
API Key label: Identify the API Key you want to create.
API Restrictions: Users can select the desired function of the API “Read-Only” or “Spot Trade”
API access restrictions: Users can choose:
- Unrestricted address for API access
- Enter and allow IP addresses (up to 20 IPs) to access the API.
Finally, select “Next”, then proceed with authentication to complete the API creation.

How to Edit API Key
User can edit your API Key by:
Step 1: Access the “API Management” interface
Step 2: Select “Edit” on the desired API Key
Step 3: Adjust the API Key information, click “Save” to confirm and authenticate to complete the edit.

How to delete API Key
Users can delete the API Key by:
Step 1: Access the “API Management” interface
Step 2: Select “Delete” on the desired API Key
Step 3: Select “Confirm” and authenticate to proceed with deleting the API Key.

- A single account can create a maximum of 20 API Keys.
