Dear Nami community,
2FA (Two-factor authentication) is a security method that uses two related factors to authenticate the person logging into the account. This is an effective tool to increase the security of each user's account.
To install two-factor security on Nami Exchange, users need to follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: Log in to your account on Nami Exchange application, if you do not have an account on Nami Exchange, follow this step to create a new one.
Step 2: At the Account section, select "Two-factor authentication".
Step 3: Install the integrated application to get the two-factor security code on the mobile phone. Nami recommends users to install the Google Authenticator app. You can find this app on the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android).
Step 4: After downloading the Google Authenticator application, users need to back up the secret key displayed on Nami's screen to a safe place and make sure that no one can see it. Users can use this secret key later to re-link their accounts in case they lose access to the previously installed Google Authenticator.
Step 5: Open the Google Authenticator app, scan the QR code with your phone's camera. If the code cannot be scanned, the user can manually enter the secret key backed up in step 5.
Step 6: Back to the Nami Exchange application/website, users need to complete the following two steps:
