Nami Exchange officially lists Synapse (SYN)

Dear Nami Community,

In order to expand the trading options to users and the community, Nami Exchange would like to announce the listing of Synapse (SYN) with spot trading pairs SYN/VNDC and SYN/USDT at 2023-02-22 10:30 (UTC).

Users can start depositing SYN from listing time, Withdrawals for SYN will open at 2023-02-23 10:30 (UTC).


What is Synapse (SYN)?

Synapse is a decentralized cross-chain infrastructure project. It provides products such as bridge, cross-chain messaging protocol and stableswap. SYN is the utility and governance token.

The Synapse protocol consists of 3 components:

  • Generalized Cross-chain Communication: A cross-chain information intermediary, allowing data to be sent across chains securely and seamlessly. With this system, applications no longer need to deploy across multiple chains. Applications need only deploy on a single blockchain and “communicate” with other blockchains for a single seamless user experience.
  • Optimistic Security Model: Optimistic security mechanism, this is Synapse's authentication mechanism that works based on the same authentication mechanism as the Optimistic Rollup solution.
  • Synapse Bridge: A bridge that allows users to swap assets on more than 15 blockchains safely and securely.

SYN token has the following functions:

  • Governance: SYN is used so that token holders can vote on proposals related to the operational governance of the protocol.
  • Liquidity Incentives: When liquidity providers provide liquidity to the protocol, they receive a certain amount of rewards paid in SYN.
  • Staking: validators to participate in validating data in the network (and receive rewards) need to stake a certain amount of SYN to ensure accuracy and honesty when validating data.
  • Transaction Fees: SYN will be used to pay fees for transactions on the network.
