Send and receive digital assets off-chain on Nami Exchange

Dear Nami community,

In order to increase the convenience of the community and users in receiving and sending digital assets with other accounts on Nami Exchange, from 2023-08-23 10:30 (UTC), Nami Exchange officially launched internally sending and receiving assets features (off-chain transactions).

The following article will detail how to use the off-chain asset transaction feature on Nami Exchange


On website Nami Exchange

Step 1: Access the Wallet interface, select Spot Wallet, select Withdraw, select Send Off-chain:


Step 2: Enter Recipient's Nami ID or email address, enter the quantity and select the type of asset you want to send, click Send and enter the verification code if required


The screen will notify the successful transaction, user can check the transaction details in the transaction history:


On Nami Exchange application

Step 1: Access the Wallet interface, select Spot Wallet, select Withdraw, select Send Off-chain, select the type of asset you want to send


Step 2: Enter Recipient's Nami ID or email address, enter the quantity and select the type of asset you want to send, click Send and enter the verification code if required


The screen will announce the successful transaction, the sender and the receiver can both check the transaction details in the transaction history.


Important Notice:

  • Users need to update to the latest version of Nami Exchange application to use this feature (v2.1.3, 195162).
  • The feature is only available to accounts that have completed KYC
  • Off-chain transactions supports all types of digital assets that on-chain transactions supported in Nami Exchange's Spot wallet
  • Off-chain transaction on Nami Exchange is completely free
  • With off-chain transactions, the minimum limit is 100,000 VNDC ($4.2), the maximum limit is 50,000,000 VNDC ($2,050) or equivalent per order, this limit may change depending on actual operating conditions
  • Since 2024-01-19 09:00 (UTC), all Vietnamese Nami Exchange accounts need to link a bank account to use the off-chain asset transfer feature.
