Maintenance of Nami Insurance on Nami Exchange

Dear Nami Community,

In order to provide additional transaction risk management tools for users, from 2023-09-05 08:30 (UTC), Nami Exchange has officially integrated Nami Insurance on its trading platform with support insurance for assets in Spot wallets and Nami Futures USDT positions on the Nami Exchange website and application.

During operating the product, the development team received feedbacks from users about a technical error that resulted in some Insurance Contracts not automatically closing and receiving insurance payouts at the payout price P-Claim, as well as many suggestions to improve the interface and increase convenience of users.


In order to improve product quality to meet high demand from users and the community, Nami Exchange has agreed with the Nami Insurance project team to execute the maintenance of Nami Insurance product on Nami Exchange from 2023-09-05 18:00 (UTC).

Specifically:

  • From 2023-09-05 17:30 (UTC), Nami Insurance will temporarily stop accepting new contracts
  • From 2023-09-05 18:00 (UTC), all active Insurance contracts on Nami Exchange will be automatically canceled, the corresponding insurance margin will be unlocked in the user's Insurance wallet.
  • Insurance contracts that have reached the liquidation price P-Expire or been expired even though the P-Claim payout price has been reached will be automatically scanned and paid out, expected at 2023-09-06 10:00 (UTC).
