Dear Nami community,
In order to provide a more diverse, convenient, and time-saving insurance purchasing experience for users, Nami Insurance is updating the Spreadsheet feature starting from 2024-10-16 08:00 (UTC).
The Nami Insurance Calculator will be updated with 2 new modes to meet users' needs, namely the Hedging mode and Optimal Profit mode. To access the calculator, users can click on the "calculator icon" on the Buy Cover interface.
In the Calculator interface, the system will default to the asset pair matching the current asset pair on the Buy Cover. Users can choose a different asset pair to calculate insurance contracts as desired.

Detailed information about the new modes on the calculator:
1.Hedging mod
The system will automatically suggest parameters for the insurance contract to provide information about the coverage part for the Futures position when the price hits the stop loss or the position is liquidated.
Insurance contract opens based on the hedging mode will be inversely related to the position.
How to use:
Step 1: Enter information about the Futures position
Users will enter information about the Futures position into the calculator, including:
After that, users click "Calculate" and the system will provide "Position result" when the position hits the Stop loss price:

Step 2: Enter information about the Insurance contract
After entering information about the Futures position, users press the down arrow icon to continue entering information about the insurance contract. The system will automatically fill in information about the Period, Open price, and Stop loss price based on the position information.
Users can use the margin information above to enter insurance contract margin information, then continue choose "Calculate" for the system to provide results when using Insurance to cover the loss for the position. The system will provide information:
Note: Users can customize all information in the insurance contract section on the calculator to calculate and find the optimal parameters for the insurance contract.

2. Optimal profit mode:
The Optimal profit calculation mode allows users to calculate how much more profit they will receive by opening an additional contract along with the position compared to just trading the position.
Contracts opened based on the optimal profit mode will be aligned with the position.
How to use:
Step 1: Enter information about the Futures position
Users will enter information about the Futures position into the calculator, including:

After entering information about the Futures position, users press the down arrow icon to continue entering information about the insurance contract. The system will automatically fill in information about the Period, Open price, and Take profit price based on the position information.
