Off-chain send and receive is a feature that allows users to transfer digital assets between Nami wallets quickly, securely, and without any fees. This article provides a detailed guide on how to use the Off-chain Send & Receive feature, including steps for conducting transactions, managing contacts, and important notes. How to Send Off-chain Step 1: Access the Off-chain Send screen From the main screen, select the Wallet tab, then choose Withdraw . Next, tap on Off-chain Send. Step 2: Enter transaction details Select the asset with sufficient balance in your Spot Wallet and enter the amount you want to send. Enter recipient information: - Enter the recipient's Nami ID/Email, or scan the QR code containing the recipient's Nami ID. - Alternatively, select a contact from your saved Contacts. - You can also add a message and a greeting card (optional). Note : The recipient must be KYC-verified and have at least one payment method set up. Step 3: Confirm the order After completing the information, select “ Confirm ”. Step 4: Security verification Users must perform security verification via Email/Phone number and 2FA (depending on personal security settings). After successful verification, the order will be processed, and the corresponding amount will be deducted from your Spot Wallet. How to Receive Off-chain Step 1: Provide information to the sender To receive assets via an Off-chain transaction, you can provide information to the sender in two ways: - Directly send your Nami ID or the email address registered with your account. - Go to the Account screen, select Scan QR, then choose My QR code and send this code to the sender. Step 2: Receive notification and check wallet balance - When you receive an Off-chain asset, the system will send an in-app notification on the Nami app. - The assets will be credited directly to your Spot Wallet once the transaction is complete. How to Manage Off-chain contacts Step 1: Access the Off-chain contacts screen On the Off-chain Send screen, tap on Contacts to open your list of saved contacts. Step 2: Add a new contact - Tap the (+) icon on the " Contacts " screen or select “ Add Contact ” on the “ Manage Contacts ” screen. - Enter the recipient's Nami ID/Email, or scan the QR code containing the recipient's Nami ID. Then, tap Save. Step 3: Delete a contact On the “ Manage Contacts” screen, find the contact you want to delete, tap the Delete icon, and confirm the action. Important notes - Users must complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification on Nami to be authorized to use the off-chain send and receive features. - This feature is only available to users with Vietnamese nationality. - The registered payment method (bank account) must match the information on your KYC.
